Our Team

Amy Stubblefield

Safe Harbors is devastated to share that our Executive Director, Amy Stubblefield, died by suicide on March 8th, 2021

We are all in deep grief and shock and know there are many in this community for whom Amy was a bright light, especially local survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking whose lives were changed and, in many cases, saved by her amazing advocacy.

As we move forward as an agency, please know that we are still here to advocate for you, and that there are mental health supports available for you both locally and nationally. If you, or someone you know, is feeling suicidal, we encourage you to reach out and get support or offer them support. It could mean all the difference.
